Purses & Pastel

The Pink House in Yorkville

The Pink House in Yorkville

This past Saturday I did an event with Jeanne Lottie, Fancy Pufs and Pastel Dress Party and it was a blast.

It was my first time ever going to the Jeanne Lottie store but I’ve fallen in love. Jane Lp, the Toronto designer, has had her bags featured in Weddingbells, FLARE and Elle Canada.

“Toronto-based designer Jane Ip has always looked for happiness in her life. The Jeanne Lottie brand began in 1985 with that philosophy in mind when Jane and her sister, Charlotte, embraced passion and creativity by starting their own brand. Today Jane takes the lead. Over the 31 years, Jeanne Lottie has built a steadfast, loyal following, and Jane has been recognized nationally and abroad for beautiful designs that stand out from the crowd. Her design approach values embracing what’s different, what’s unexpected, and what’s fun in order to created something fresh and new.” – Jeanne Lottie

The event was a girl’s day, with sale items from Pastel Dress and delicious cotton candy from Fancy Pufs. Like I’m talking drool worthy.

This place was sent straight from heaven I swear. They brought three of their many flavours: coconut (my fave), lemon and chai. They’re organic and gluten free and the cart they have is adorable, perfect for any fancy party you’re throwing!

The store has a collection of bags available (some are even samples so you’ll be the only one with the bag, amazing) and online too!

One of my favourite (and new!) collections is this nod to Toronto. The bags come in coin purse, clutch and weekend bag, plus a box purse coming soon.

Purses and tutus look great, don't you agree?! (Photo from the girls at PDP)

The event was a girly afternoon that I was in need of, and I’m excited for the next PDP event: A Spring Pop-Up Shop!
