As far as wedding goes, I think I like every single detail that goes into them.
I might change my mind when I’m the one actually planning one but as an outsider I’m pretty safe to just love it all.
My favourite detail, and I think it’s because I like writing so much, is the stationery. Not just the invites – but right from the start with bridal shower invites, the guestbooks and place cards and the save the dates. Every single piece of paper (there’s a lot, I’ve learned) is so well thought put, planned, personalized to fit the happy couple that it always blows my mind to see how many options are out there.
But if I’m going to imagine what it’s like to plan out these details, I think it must be stressful.
Which is one of the reasons I find Basic Invite so very clever!
They’ve been around for just over 10 years so you can be assured they know what they’re up to and they have you covered every step of the way – not to mention their products are gorgeous. They just launched their on-trend clear collection, added rose gold (my fave) foil and foil place cards.
Also helpful to note: based in the US, you can quickly view all prices in CAD in the top right corner, extremely helpful if you’re a Canadian reader.
And another practical thing that Basic Invite does: free address collection service! What this means is: you share a link, collect addresses, and get free envelope printing.
Now, back to what makes them so awesome.
All the Colour Options
As Basic Invite says, almost unlimited colours.
So this is one of the ways they set themselves apart from other online stores – you can go in and choose the design that makes your heart happy, and then customize every single detail of it with over 180 different colours to choose from. You can make your invites as fancy or informal as you wish.
They’re also just as colourful with their invites as they are with their envelopes and boast over 40 different colours to choose from! Good to know: All of their envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed.
As someone who is extremelt indecisive when it comes to normal things, I can’t fathom what I’ll be like once planning a a wedding.
Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows their customers to order a printed sample of their actual invitation so they can see exactly how it will print and get a chance to feel the paper quality before they ever have to place their final order. I’m tempted to print my invitation up top, but I’ll resist.
Wedding Invitation Sets
So they don’t have just wedding invitations, they have full sets. Over 200 to be exact.
These sets include everythingfrom save the dates to wedding invitations and enclosure cards, wedding menus, wedding programs and even matching thank you cards!
And Guestbooks too!
Since they customize basically everything, it should come at no surprise that you can also customize your wedding guest books.
I love that you could match your guest book to your invitations, that truly would bring everything together. The binding is also perfect for a guestbook that will have lots of people writing in it – they have a ring hidden inside which allows them to lay perfectly flat for a classy and convenient look.
For those of you who aren’t wedding planning, I was super excited to see that they also do business cards! They actually have a whole business section – now I know that’s a little off topic, but I thought it would be worth mentioning!
Heads up: This is a sponsored post, and there are some links involved. Don’t fret, all opinions are still honest & opinion!
